Workout Time Makes For Great TV Time
I’m not real big on watching TV, but ever since I got my flat panel TV and added a theater surround sound system to it, I’ve really started to get some major use out of my Netflix membership. I also snagged a Roku and started watching movies I wouldn’t normally stick into my queue. It’s like listening to music — you don’t really appreciate it until you hear it through a quality speaker system.
And somewhere along the way I got hooked on Lost, NCIS, House and so many other good shows. I soon found my fat butt spending way too much time watching TV and not enough time walking, especially now that the weather is back into the 100’s.
That’s when I started feeling guilty about not exercising. Somewhere in between watching TV and being online over eight hours a day I decided to move my treadmill out of the garage and into the house. I also ordered a SurfShelf.
When I got my SurfShelf I was turned onto an entertainment website built specifically for SurfShelf users to watch on the laptop on the treadmill. OMG! You can’t imagine how stoked I was to see Lost and NCIS in the lineup.
But it’s more than just TV. There’s top news, sports highlights, Hollywood entertainment, music videos, online TV, health and lifestyle, stuff for teens and more… Oh, and it’s free.
You can order a SurfShelf here.
